Michael Lane
Hi everyone. I'm Mike Lane and I am new to Eagle Peak and Ukiah. I’ve been a teacher for over 35 years with 25 of those years being in the walled classroom. I am super thrilled to be teaching the STEM program this year. It feels like a natural evolution from everything I have learned throughout my life. My brother and I grew up tinkering in the garage with my dad who was a real rocket scientist. I am just as comfortable with a wrench in my hand as I am with a keyboard. I am into motorcycling, mountain biking, hiking, running, whitewater rafting, photography, and generally anything that involves exploring. I live life as one big adventure after another. This summer I rode my BMW to the Arctic Ocean and swam with a few Inuit First Nations kids. I am looking forward to sharing my love of adventure and learning with the students of Eagle Peak.
