Erich Sommer (AKA Bobcat) is our RVOEP Education Coordinator. 

Erich comes to us with a degree in Geography and is also a graduate of the UC California Naturalist program. His appreciation and knowledge of the natural world is quickly passed on to students as he leads groups to explore and learn about the forest, meadow, and stream habitats of the RVOEP.

Cathy Monroe (aka Zephyr) spends the fall and spring helping to lead RVOEP educational programs. Cathy retired from Oak Manor School where she taught for over 26 years. Cathy was very instrumental in helping launch the RVOEP in 1995 and has been a supporter ever since. She currently serves as the RVOEP Advisory Board Chairperson. Cathy brings a broad knowledge of our local flora and fauna and a dedication to sharing the natural world with people of all ages, especially children.
